Hungary's Laszlo Krasznahorkai wins 2025 Nobel literature prize




The 2025 Nobel Prize in literature was awarded to Hungarian writer Laszlo Krasznahorkai, “for his compelling and visionary oeuvre that, in the midst of apocalyptic terror, reaffirms the power of art.” The Nobel Prize comes with a diploma, a gold medal and a nearly $1.2 million prize sum.
