πŸ›οΈ Amazon Prime: Add to Orders with One Tap! πŸ›’

Amazon is rolling out a new feature that makes it easier to buy more throughout the week. The company said it’s now updating its Amazon Shopping app and website with a new addition that lets Prime members add items to upcoming deliveries with one tap, instead of having to create a new order.

The feature is designed to better reflect how people actually shop on Amazon online.

Instead of compiling an order with multiple items, they often remember things throughout the week they want or need, and then place multiple orders. Amazon has tried to work around the logistics headache this could cause by offering options like Amazon Day delivery, a day of the week that customers select to receive all their most recent orders at once. Amazon also incentivizes customers to choose slower delivery methods for a digital reward.

Now, the retailer says, Prime members will be able to tap a bright blue button that reads β€œAdd to today’s delivery” on a product detail page. The button appears below the β€œAdd to cart” option and replaces the β€œBuy Now” one-click checkout button.

If you change your mind right away (or accidentally click the new button), there’s an β€œUndo” option that will allow you to remove the item immediately, notes Amazon.

The button will appear when adding an item to your next order as an option and is rolling out to U.S. Prime members across eligible items. Prime currently costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year in the United States.
