Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions has reached a multi-year agreement with Madison Square Garden Entertainment to stage annual women’s boxing events in New York as part of the company’s newly launched platform for female fighters.

The arrangement was announced alongside MVP’s broadcast deal with ESPN and forms part of the rollout of the promotion’s women’s boxing series. Under the agreement, Madison Square Garden will host annual events over the next three years, giving the project a recurring presence at one of boxing’s most recognized venues.

The first of those events is scheduled for April 17 at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City. The card is set to air live on ESPN, and will be headlined by unified super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner defending her titles against South Korea’s Bo Mi Re Shin.

The same event will also feature unified super middleweight champion Shadasia Green defending her belts against Lani Daniels. Both fights are scheduled for 10 rounds and represent the first United States event under the promotion’s new women’s boxing series.

Most Valuable Promotions introduced the platform as a year-round schedule built around championship fights featuring leading female contenders. The cards will be numbered sequentially, beginning with an opening event in London on April 5 featuring Caroline Dubois against Terri Harper in a lightweight unification bout.

MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian said the platform is intended to give women’s boxing consistent placement on major broadcasts and prominent stages.

Bidarian described the ESPN partnership as “a historic milestone” for the company’s women’s boxing platform.

Madison Square Garden has hosted many of boxing’s most significant fights over the decades, and the agreement gives the promotion a regular foothold in New York as it builds its women’s series around title bouts and established champions.

The next event in the lineup is scheduled for May 30 in El Paso, Texas, headlined by a rematch between Stephanie Han and former boxing and mixed martial arts champion Holly Holm.
